Sexual Satisfaction Treatments

For women with difficulty achieving sexual arousal and satisfaction, the quality of intimate relationships and self-confidence can suffer. We offer two options for women who want to improve their sexual satisfaction: EMFEMME 360 and the O Spot Shot. EMFEMME 360 uses radiofrequency energy to tighten the labial folds and vaginal canal. The O Spot Shot can enhance sensitivity and rejuvenate the vagina from the inside using platelet-rich plasma, or PRP.

Why Choose SpaVie?

  • At SpaVie, we pride ourselves our ability to treat the issues and concerns of each of the unique women who come to us looking to feel better.
  • Our med spa is headed by one of the top female plastic surgeons and cosmetic gynecology specialists in the country, Dr. Jennifer Harrington.
  • From our facility in Plymouth, SpaVie serves the Twin Cities as well as outlying communities including Minnetonka, Wayzata, St. Cloud and Sartell. We are conveniently located for easy travel.

Best Candidates for Treatment

Candidates should be in good general health with realistic expectations for their results. Most women who consider getting EMFEMME 360 or the O Spot Shot have difficulty achieving sexual arousal, reaching orgasm or having intercourse comfortably. The O Spot Shot may also improve urinary stress incontinence. We also offer a dedicated treatment for urinary incontinence called EMSELLA.

Depending on your goals for feminine rejuvenation, Dr. Harrington may have additional recommendations. For women interested in a cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Harrington also performs labiaplasty at her plastic surgery practice.

What to Expect

For women who choose EMFEMME 360, the treatment could not be simpler. It is completely noninvasive and was designed for patient comfort. The treatment itself takes only about 8 minutes, during which time the treatment device uniformly delivers radiofrequency energy to the entire inner circumference of the vaginal wall, which triggers the body to produce more collagen and tighten the area. A second attachment can be applied to heat the vulvar area and treat the labial folds, stimulating collagen production for improved tightness and a lifted look.

The first step of the O Spot Shot is a simple blood draw taken from your arm. After, a centrifuge will be used to separate the PRP from your blood. Your provider will numb your vagina and clitoris with a topical numbing cream. Then, the PRP will be injected directly into specific areas of the vagina and vulva. Because of the topical anesthetic used, most women feel little to no discomfort during the treatment. The entire process usually takes around 30 minutes.

Recovery & Results

Both EMFEMME 360 and the O Spot Shot require no downtime, and you can return to your normal routine immediately following your appointment. You may notice mild redness and swelling in the treatment area following either treatment, but this should not last more than a few hours.

Your results should gradually develop over the coming weeks and months as your body naturally responds to the treatment and produces new collagen and tissue. You should eventually notice heightened sensitivity in and around the treated areas, as well as improved lubrication and sexual satisfaction during intimacy.

Sexual Satisfaction Treatment FAQs

Q. How many treatments will I need?
The O Spot Shot is often used as a single treatment, but some women may find that a second treatment performed 4 to 6 weeks after the first helps them achieve the results they want. EMFEMME 360 typically requires 3 treatments spaced about a week apart for maximum effectiveness.
Q. How can the O Spot Shot help with urinary stress incontinence?
The O Spot Shot won’t help with everyone’s urinary stress incontinence, but in the case of incontinence due to weakened vaginal muscles, the O Spot Shot may help. This is because rejuvenating the tissue of the vagina with PRP can encourage rapid cell turnover, which may improve muscle strength. We also offer dedicated, completely non-invasive urinary incontinence treatments.
Q. How soon can I have sex after getting one of these treatments?
You can resume intercourse as soon as your treatment is finished if you like. One of the greatest benefits of these procedures is that there is absolutely no downtime required.
Q. Will there be any visible changes from EMFEMME 360 or the O Spot Shot?
EMFEMME 360 can treat the tissue of the labia, for a more youthful and attractive appearance. But if you are having vaginal tightening only, the external vaginal appearance should appear unchanged.
Q. What’s the best age to get one of these treatments?
Because feminine rejuvenation is such a personal procedure that can treat a range of concerns, there is no “right” age for getting EMFEMME 360 or the O Spot Shot. Many women experience changes during or after childbirth or menopause that cause them to consider the treatment, but issues achieving arousal and sexual satisfaction can occur at any age. We can help you decide if one of these treatments is the right choice for your needs.
